Работа сделана под впечатлением от просмотра фильма "Девчата", хотя в это сложно поверить. Советский гротеск, из которого состояла вся жизнь и который вынуждено было воспевать искусство доходил до крайностей и превращался в уродство. В фильме, казалось бы, ничего такого нет, но любовь тут зациклена на материальных благах и народной молве "что подумают? что скажут?", с одной стороны, и преувеличенно благородных порывах с другой.
Что до меня, я бы не смогла жить в то время и очень рада, что не живу. Как бы то ни было, я могу оставаться самой собой и дать это детям.

The work was made under the impression of watching the film "Girls", although it is hard to believe.
