Эта работа создана в момент, когда я воспитывала двух погодок 1 и 2 годика. Ежедневные хлопоты, радости и рутина сильно расшатывали мои нервы. Потому я так дотошно исполнила все эти текстуры. Это была своего рода медитация для меня, уход от реальности, успокоение в редкие минуты, когда я могла находиться наедине с собой.

This artwork was done while I was preparing my course on the history and theory of design, which I taught at design college on Saturdays. All the rest of my days were occupied by my sons: one was 3 years old, the second - 1.5. Drawing along with teaching soothed my frayed nerves and distracted me from my routine. Unfortunately, there are almost no drawings from that time
