Внимательно рассматривая цветы, я все больше убеждаюсь в их связи с архитектурой или какими-то инженерными конструкциями типа мостов - настолько все продумано до мелочей. Каждая деталь цветка выглядит именно так, а не иначе, потому что она служит задаче или как-то взаимодействует со средой. И вот этот функционализм в сочетании с тем, что мы называем "красиво", меня удивляет.
Работа создана из 2 оттисков глубокой печати на картоне методом аппликации с доработкой масляной пастелью.

Carefully examining the flowers, I am increasingly convinced of their connection with architecture or some kind of engineering structures such as bridges - everything is so thought out to the smallest detail. Every detail of a flower looks the way it does because it serves a purpose or interacts with the environment in some way. And this functionalism combined with what we call “beautiful” surprises me.

The work was created from 2 intaglio prints on cardboard using the appliqué method and refined with oil pastels.
