Серия работ про котов - это всегда ответственная задача. С одной стороны, коты всех умиляют и вызывают сильные эмоции. С другой, так просто впасть в банальные "веселые картинки". Мне кажется, я нашла свой подход. Для меня коты - это серьезные звери, которые выглядят забавно для людей. Они обладают совершенной пластикой, и, как люди, не похожи друг на друга. Все это натолкнуло на мысль соединить котов и цитаты из великих произведений искусства.

A series of works about cats is always a responsible task. On the one hand, cats touch everyone and evoke strong emotions. On the other hand, it's so easy to fall into banal "funny pictures". I think I found my own approach. To me, cats are serious animals that look funny to humans. They have perfect plasticity, and, like people, they are not alike. All this prompted the idea to combine cats and quotes from great works of art.
Here I have quoted Picasso. As a texture fan, every artwork is an invention, i make some new graphic experiments and even I don't know what the result will be. So my artworks cannot be copied and repeated even by me.
